What Does God Want for Me?

Many people want to know what God wants for them. Many ask themselves questions like:

  • What does God have for me?

  • Does God want to heal me?

  • Does God want me to succeed?

  • Does God have good things for me?

  • Or is everything I’m meant to live through pain and suffering?

Personally, I believe we all must go through situations in life that help us grow—situations we truly do not want to face. While we are in the middle of them, it feels like there is no way out. It can feel as if the problem itself wants to take your life, literally.

But I know that is not the truth.

Trials Are Part of the Process

There is no trial that life presents to you that you cannot overcome. Everything we go through is part of our spiritual journey, part of our walk in this world.

There are no problems or adversities designed to destroy you. On the contrary, they exist to strengthen you.

The Bible says that all things work together for good. We read those words often, yet in moments of desperation we forget them. Today I want to remind you that everything truly does work for good. There is nothing you are facing that does not have a good purpose behind it.

The path to success is filled with small, temporary failures. None of them are permanent, and none of them are impossible to overcome.

Your Attitude Determines the Outcome

Your attitude toward your problems matters more than anything else. How are you facing your bad day?

With a positive mindset, believing you will overcome it?Or with a negative attitude, believing there is no solution?

Many people start out believing, but after a while doubt enters their minds. That doubt slowly destroys them.

Doubting that you will overcome is the first step toward failure.

How to Put Faith Into Practice

There can be no doubt in your heart that you will make it through your bad day. Your mind must be strengthened, and your faith must be firm.

Many people hear the word faith, but they don’t know how to use it. Here is a simple step to help you practice it:

When you are having a bad day, change your thoughts. Fill your mind with good things and begin to visualize yourself outside of the problem you are facing.

This is not something you do for just one day. You must do it every day:

  • see yourself free from the problem

  • see yourself prospering

  • see yourself walking in victory

Because that is what the Lord has called you to.

There must be no doubt in your heart, your mind, or your spirit.

The Power of Purpose in the Heart

The Bible says that everything Solomon set his heart to do, he accomplished and prospered.Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself—and he did not.

What does this teach us?That human beings have a God-given ability: whatever they truly set their hearts on, they can accomplish.

God said to Cain:

“Sin is at your door, and it desires you, but you must rule over it.”

Believers have the authority to decide and move forward. And the best part is that what you are choosing to pursue is good, not destructive.

Nothing Will Be Impossible for You

You can decide to move forward. You can decide to overcome adversity. With God’s help, everything is possible.

Nothing will be impossible for you if you truly believe it in your heart.

Fill your mind with thoughts of victory:

  • coming out of the problem

  • receiving healing

  • receiving a miracle

  • experiencing a breakthrough in your life

Breakthroughs do not happen by accident. They are the result of faith combined with perseverance and discipline. Without these, life becomes stagnant and unfulfilling.

God’s Will for Your Life

Do you think God wants you to live a stagnant life?Absolutely not.

The Word of God is full of the thoughts He has toward you. God wants your well-being, your health, your prosperity, and your personal and ministerial success.

His will is good, pleasing, and perfect. That means what God wants for you is good—and you will love what He does in your life.

So, to answer the question from the beginning:Yes, the Lord wants to bless you.

His promises in Him are yes and amen.

Live as the Victor You Are

God wants you to live a full life, a life of victory. How much you experience that depends on how clearly you see yourself living it and how willing you are to fight for it.

Put your faith into action today. See yourself outside of your problems. See yourself as who you truly are:

  • full of grace

  • full of power

  • walking in authority

  • a king and a priest

You are far more than you imagine.

God is counting on you. He knows you will overcome and that you will help others escape what you have already conquered.

Do not doubt yourself, even if everyone else does.God has never doubted you. From the womb, He has known you are a winner.
